Privacy Policy

How RV Frontier handles your information — in plain language.

The short version

Last updated: October 21, 2026. This policy describes RV Frontier as it actually runs today. If a data practice changes, this page is updated first, and the date above changes with it.

RV Frontier is a marketplace where you can browse RVs for sale, list an RV of your own, and contact sellers and RV service businesses. Just browsing collects nothing about you. There are no advertising trackers on this site, and no sale of personal information. The rest of this page is the same statements with their working shown.

What we collect today

  • Accounts: if you create an account, we store the username and email address you sign up with and a securely hashed copy of your password — never the password itself. Your account is where your listings, inquiries, and plan details live.
  • Listings you publish: if you list an RV for sale, the details and photos you submit — description, price, location, and images — are published on the site for buyers to see. That public display is the service. The listing stays attached to your account so you can edit or remove it.
  • Business profiles: if you list your business, the business details and photos you submit are published in our providers directory for customers to find.
  • Inquiries to sellers: if you send an inquiry about a listing, we pass your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), and your message to the seller so they can respond, and the conversation is kept as a thread you and the seller can both see. We also record the network address the inquiry was sent from, to prevent spam and abuse.
  • Inquiries to businesses: if you contact a business through its directory profile, your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), and message go to that business so it can respond.
  • Payments: if you buy a paid listing plan, payment is handled by Stripe. The payment form is provided by Stripe, your card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store your card number. We keep a record of your plan and subscription status.
  • Email you send us: if you email us directly, we keep your message so we can read and answer it.
  • Hosting logs: our hosting provider processes standard server logs — IP address, browser type, timestamps, pages requested — to operate and secure the site. We do not use these logs to profile visitors or build advertising audiences.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising cookies, does not run third-party advertising or social-media trackers, and does not fingerprint browsers. The only cookie this site sets for a visitor who is just browsing is the one that remembers your cookie choice. If you sign in, the site also uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process. If analytics are added later, they will be named here — and in our Cookie Policy — with what they collect, before they are switched on, and they will not run unless you accept them. The full cookie list is always in the Cookie Policy.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The only sharing that happens here is the sharing you ask for: when you send an inquiry, your contact details and message go to the seller or business you contacted so they can respond — only on your own submitted request, never silently or by default.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. California residents have these rights — to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of any sale or sharing — under the CCPA/CPRA; the route is the same for everyone: email info@rvfrontier.com with "Privacy" in the subject line. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. Because we hold so little, most requests are answered by confirming there is nothing to find.

Retention

Email is kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Hosting logs are retained by the provider on its standard schedule. Account and listing records are kept while your account is active; inquiry threads are kept for the records of both sides of the conversation.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16; if you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date, and changes that affect sharing take effect only after they are posted. Questions: info@rvfrontier.com.
